Foot care for diabetics should not be neglected.
🦶 Diabetic patients need to take special care of their feet!
Because of a small wound,
This could become a big problem.
Diabetes can easily cause decreased sensation and poor blood circulation in the feet , often resulting in:
▪ No feeling when injured
▪ Wounds heal slowly
▪ Rapid deterioration of infection
In severe cases, it can lead to foot ulcers or amputation .
👉 Daily foot care is the best prevention.
✅ Remember these 6 things every day
1️⃣ Daily check: redness, swelling, blisters, broken skin
2️⃣ Wash with warm water (not exceeding 40°C), and dry between the toes.
3️⃣ Apply lotion to the insteps and soles of the feet, but do not apply it between the toes.
4️⃣ Trim your nails with straight lines, don't cut them too short.
5️⃣ Do not go barefoot; wear loose shoes and cotton socks.
6️⃣ Do not soak in hot water, do not pick at water, do not peel hard skin, and do not smoke.
⚠️ If these symptoms occur, please seek medical attention immediately.
